As long as you can be sure you made the right decision with folding depending on various factors, that's all you need to care about and you shouldn't regret it regardless of the flop. If the probabilities suggest that folding is the right move, that's all that matters, period.
Also, don't fall into the trap of now calling with K-9 in a similar spot because "it hit last time". This is a superstitious mentality and is deadly for any poker player.
Yes, it is frustrating however as long as you make the right decisions (something you can control), the cards (something you can't control) shouldn't matter.

| Just consider all of the times it wouldn't have hit. That's why I always throw away pocket aces, unless they're suited. |

I always play suited pocket Aces. You should see the players' reactions when I hit the nut flush... |

you are probably one of those incredibly annoying RC players that picks their cards out of the muck and shows their friends when they "would have" had the winner.

I absolutely HATE when people do that dogballs. I almost want to beat someone up when that happens.
Just a question... What are dogballs, and why do you call yourself that? Are you neutered? |

In the poker variant of Texas Hold 'em, Dogballs refers to holding pocket 8's as your hole cards. Superstitiously viewed as an unusually difficult hand to crack.
| this quickly became a favorite hand of mine when i first started playing hold em.
and to answer your 3rd question, no, i am still well equiped.
and here is another unrelated definition that i never heard of, just for the pure laugh factor:
| 1. |
dogballs |
|
|
when a man's scrotum is warm, loose, and sweaty, allowing his testicles to flop wildly within his underwear, thus leaving them suseptible to injury.
"I had the worst case of dogballs during that frisbee match, I almost sat on them during half time." | |
