2024 Hammer Tournament
The 2024 installment of the annual Hammer Tournament is coming to Borgata once again. This time, we will be in the biggest room that they can find for us. The Hammer is scheduled during their next Borgata Poker Open which is schedule to be held in their Event Center. This means that we have unlimited seating available to us awarding us the possibility of being the largest special event in our history. We are inviting ALL our social poker players and their guests to join us, no matter where, or how often, you play. Join us and you could be the next Hammer Tournament Champion!
What is the Hammer?
The Hammer Tournament is a social poker event hosted at the illustrious Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The event is catered towards players of social poker leagues in the area, but is open to the public. In order to properly host this event, it is by invitation-only, and YOU ARE INVITED!
The Tournament will be hosted on Saturday, September 14th, at 11am.
To lock in your seat, you have to pre-register for the tournament using our online registration and payment portal prior to the registration deadline of SEPT 5th.
Unlike your standard poker tournament with just an entry fee and a prize pool (which you can do every day of the week in the tri-state area) we provide added value from our league and our partners to enhance the event.
We build a more creative prize structure with more than just cash prizes up for grabs. Players will receive complimentary gifts from Riverchasers and will be competing for an estimated $20,000-$25,000 in cash and prizes, including Tournament Prizes, Souvenirs, Bonus Prizes, Bar Poker Open Seats and Full Bar Poker Open Travel Package to the upcoming World Championship.

Structure
VALID ID REQUIRED FOR REGISTRATION
Don’t Leave Home Without It! All Players are required to have a valid, government-issued photo ID (drivers license, state ID, military ID, passport).
IMPORTANT: A paper printout of a license renewal is NOT a PHOTO ID. Be sure to plan ahead and ensure your renewals are completed so you receive your actual card prior to the event.
All Players will also be required to present or obtain a MGM Rewards Player card. New cards or replacement cards may be obtained on property the day of the event. Visit any casino table pit boss or the MGM Rewards Center for assistance.
Starting Stack: 10k tournament chips
Blind Structure
20 minute tournament levels 1-12.
25 minute tournament levels 13+
15 minute break after level 6 and 12.
30 minute break after level 18.
Rebuy / Add-on Card details.
Each player will receive two Bonus Chip Cards that can be used to build your chip stack or get you back into the event. Usage of the Card is based on the following guidelines:
10K Re-entry: Receive 10k in chips if you use this card prior to the first break.
You must be at or below 10k in chips, and not involved in a hand.
You may use one or both of your cards prior to the first break if needed as long as you meet these criteria.
You may use one chip card at the start of the tournament, as you meet the criteria20K Add-on: Receive 20k in chips if you use this card during the first break. You must have at least 1 chip in play during the break to use as an Add-on. You may use both of your cards during the first break. Place your bonus cards underneath your chip stack when you go to break.
Redemption: Redeeming your Bonus Cards are the player’s responsibility. All cards must be used by the end of the first break.
Immediate Re-Entry: If you are eliminated from the tournament prior to the 1st break, you must use a chip card to re-enter the tournament immediately. If you are eliminated and leave the table before redeeming your chip card, you are eliminated from play and may not re-enter.
PRIZE POOL
Players will compete for Cash Tournament Prizes, Bonus Hand Prizes, Bar Poker Open Seats, and a Bar Poker Open Travel Package. All Players will receive a souvenir gift from the league. Full Prize pool and details will be announced as we get closer to the event.
Estimated Prize pool will be over $25,000 in cash and prizes!
Promotion hosted by Riverchasers Entertainment, LLC and is subject to change without recourse.
Promotion open to the public, 21+, and must be in good standing with any social poker league or group in which they participate.
Poker Tournament is hosted by MGM / Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa. Tournament rules are guided by the TDA and the NJ Gaming Commission. Borgata tournament staff has final say in all tournament rules and are without recourse.
