A little history…
It’s been a fantastic 19+ years hosting events with Riverchasers and 10 years of the Bar Poker Open. I joined the league in 2005 as a player at The Boathouse in Conshohocken after my roommate invited me to play. The league was only 3 months old at the time, and I was busy playing online poker when I got the phone call to head down. They had over 50 players, I met some absolutely incredible people, finished 2nd place and I was HOOKED!
A lot has happened in those 19 years, with the league, with me personally, with our poker family, the growth of the BPO, and with the world. It’s had it’s highs and lows but I wouldn’t trade this experience for anything.

My present to you…
As my birthday approaches, I wanted to find a way to give back to our players and supporters, and what better way than in a Poker Tournament? It’s sort of what we do best. As much as I’d love to go around to every live league game to celebrate, that’s just not possible. I would love to host a live tournament with everyone, but that wouldn’t be local for the majority of the league because of how wide-spread our network is. It would be INCREDIBLE to have everyone join me in Vegas on my actual birthday of June 9th, and have 10,000+ Riverchasers flood Fremont Street for the largest birthday party ever, but that’s not just realistic either.
Instead of all the “in-person” options, let’s get everyone together and play ONLINE. You can do it from anywhere in the world, right on your phone, tablet, or computer. This also allows my Riverchasers who have moved away to be able to join the party.
Currently, every Tuesday night we host an online private event for Bar Poker Open PRO Members who are affiliated with Riverchasers. Each week, we typically give away a free BPO PRO Membership to the winner. For this special event, we are going to tweak that a bit and give away (hopefully) a truckload of CASH PRIZES!

Sign up for a Bar Poker Open PRO membership anytime between June 5th and July 2nd.
Receive all the incredible rewards that a PRO membership has to offer. Choose from over 300 tournaments in the month to compete for Tokens, Cash Prizes, and BPO Championship Seats/Packages.
Current BPO Members: If you already have a BarPokerOpen.com account, log in with your email address and click the SIGN-UP NOW button. Choose the PRO membership option that best suits you.
New BPO Members: If you don’t have a BarPokerOpen.com account yet, CLICK HERE to sign up for an account affiliated with Riverchasers. Then login and click the SIGN-UP NOW button.
System Restriction: Each player is only permitted to be affiliated with ONE Live Poker League within the Bar Poker Open network. If you are affiliated with another BPO league, you would not be permitted to compete in this event.
Not affiliated but should be? If you have a BarPokerOpen.com account and you are a Riverchasers player, and your BPO Account is not affiliated with our league, you have to email info@barpokeropen.com and have them updated your account affiliation.
BIRTHDAY TOURNAMENT
TUESDAY, JULY 2ND, 7PM START TIME.
There is no added cost to play in this tournament. All our weekly private events are included with your BPO Pro membership.
Find the Tournament under the “PLAY M” Money Type Filter. Do not use the “Tokens” filter.
Guidelines:
Your BPO account has to be affiliated with Riverchasers. Verify by logging into your BPO account, scrolling through your player Dashboard, and looking at the list of upcoming “Step 1 BPO In-Person Events”. It should list games from Riverchasers Poker Tour only. Please very that prior to the tournament as it might take 48 hours to correct the affiliation.
Your account must be active on July 2nd, with at least 1 available credit to use to enter the event.
The date range for registration is chosen because your PRO Membership lasts 30 days, but take note that if you use your 60 event credits in that 30 day period, your membership expires. Make sure you still have at least 1 event credit to use to enter the Riverchasers Private event.

I am awarding a $100 prize for every 50 players, with a minimum of a $300 Prize Guaranteed.
This means if we get 150+ players, the prize goes up!!
1:20 players win a Cash Prize.
$100 minimum Guaranteed 1st Place Prize.
Cash prize winners will be contacted to confirm prize payment details.
The cash prizes will not be added to your BPO account.
